Mr. Stock stated “I decided to take part in this challenge for the Cayman Heart Fund because of the desperate need of a new ambulance and this issue is close to my heart because three out of the four men in my family have been hospitalized with AFIB. Taking part in this challenge for the Cayman Islands Heart Fund is a great way, not only to show support, but to motivate myself and give back to the community.”
David Dinner, Cayman Heart Fund Chairman, stated “We appreciate David’s efforts to raise funds for this worthy cause. The HSA’s new ambulance will be a benefit to all in the community, whether or not they have been affected by cardiovascular disease. To date we have raised over CI$43,000 towards our goal of raising roughly CI$125,000. With David’s races, we hope to get even closer to our goal and be in a position to buy the ambulance in the next 6 to 8 months.”
